Shediac Town Council will hold special meetings on December 2nd, 3rd and 9th, 2013 between the hours of 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Shediac Town Hall. These special meetings have been called in order to deliberate and approve the 2014 Operating Budget for the Town of Shediac.
The public is invited to attend these meetings.

The public is advised that winter parking restrictions are in effect from November 1st of any given year to April 1st of the following year within the Town of Shediac. During this period, parking is prohibited on any street from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. to allow for snow clearing operations. It is also prohibited to place or to throw any snow or ice upon any street or sidewalk or other public place.

If you’re collection day pick-up is on the Holidays mentioned below, your garbage will be picked-up on the Friday of the same week:
Remembrance Day – November 11th, 2013
Christmas Day – December 25th, 2013
New Year’s Day – January 1st, 2014
Good Friday – April 18th, 2014
Canada Day – July 1st, 2014
New Brunswick Day – August 4th, 2014
Labor Day – September 1st, 2014
For all other Holidays not stated in this list, your garbage will be picked-up on the regular your garbage collection day.

A subsidy is given to the Town of Shediac’s young residents who are enrolled in the following programs: Shediac Cap-Pelé Minor Hockey Inc., Minor Hockey for girls, L.J.R. Patriotes high school hockey programs and Shediac/Cap-Pele Ringette Association.

CLASSIC MOVIES IN SHEDIAC
Classic movies will be showed on Wednesdays at the Multipurpose Centre located at 58 Festival Street in Shediac. The movie will start at 7 P.M. following with a discussion at the end of the movie. All audience members are encouraged to participate.
Admission is free and open to the public. A balance of English and French movies will be shown, some with subtitles. Other films such as “Mon Oncle”, “Le Bal”, “Gasland”, “Incendie”, “From Russia with Love”, “The African Queen”, "Sweet Misery", "The Sound of Music" and "A Christmas Story" will be played throughout fall.
