Shediac, April 16, 2014 - The Council of the Town of Shediac wishes to inform its citizens that the 3rd readings of the Municipal Development Plan (P-14-36), the Zoning By-Law (Z-14-44) as well as the rezoning application (Z-14-44-1Z) will be on the agenda at the regular council meeting to be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Town Hall on Main Street in Shediac.

The household hazardous waste disposal will be held on Wednesday, May 28th from 2 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Rotary Park.
Please take note that the special spring garbage collection is scheduled for one week only from May 26th through the 30th, 2014 on regular garbage day in your neighborhood. Waste shall not be placed at curb side or by the roadside more than seven (7) days before the scheduled pick-up date.
After last fall success, the Town of Shediac in partnership with Radio Beauséjour invite the public to their 2nd Edition of Acoustic Sundays. A series of 4 musical shows will be presented by well-known artists in the region on the following dates:
April 27th – Paul Hébert
May 11th (2:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.)– Jacques Comeau, Josiane Comeau and Cameron Molloy
The shows will be held at the Shediac Multipurpose Centre located at 58 Festival Street. Tickets at 5$ per show are sold at the Shediac Jean Coutu Pharmacy and at the Multipurpose Centre.

The proposed by-laws may be inspected by interested persons during regular office hours at the Clerk's office at the Shediac Town Hall from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. during business days. The proposed By-Laws can also be examined under the link Municipal Services / Municipal By-Laws.

CLASSIC MOVIES IN SHEDIAC
Classic movies will be showed on Wednesdays at the Multipurpose Centre located at 58 Festival Street in Shediac. The movie will start at 7 P.M. following with a discussion at the end of the movie. All audience members are encouraged to participate.
Admission is free and open to the public. A balance of English and French movies will be shown, some with subtitles.
