Line Godbout

Originally from Drummond, N.B., and a graduate of the Université de Moncton, I spent my career in Ottawa as federal public servant. Since my retirement, I have been involved in the provincial and municipal arts and culture field, sitting on various executive boards and working in organizations such as the Conseil provincial des sociétés culturelles, the Association acadienne des artistes professionnel.le.s du Nouveau-Brunswick and the New Brunswick Mat Registry.

I’ve been practicing the art of hooking with a passion for about ten years, and I am grateful to have been initiated to this traditional art and to be able to create while recycling materials and exploring the use of textiles. It is with pride and devotion that I contribute to transmitting this wonderful heritage from our ancestors.
