Profil
For 30 years, I’ve been exploring with passion various creative media, supported by a constant search, thoroughness when it comes to creating my works, and an affinity for fibres. Whether it be my collages, sculptures, dolls or even my hooked rugs, I like to explore the forms, colours and textures of objects and to incorporate unusual and intriguing materials: wasp nests, bird feathers, metallic wires, star fishes, and hand-made paper. I am constantly inspired by nature and its secrets, and I draw my satisfaction from the balance that is established between the feverish excitement of creating a piece and the internal harmony that accompanies the thorough and sometimes slow work involved with its execution.
Since 1980, I’ve displayed my works in more than fifty (50) solo and group exhibits, and my work is based on eclectic training. My creativity comes from a desire to create unique pieces and from a need to constantly explore new techniques.
