Zev Bagel (the pen-name for Warren Redman) was born in England and moved to Canada in 1994. He has lived in Shediac since 2009. Zev’s short stories and poetry have been published in several journals and anthologies. His first novel - Bernie Waxman & the Whistling Kettle was short-listed for the Atlantic writing awards. It is published by MuseItUp Publishing. His second is Secrets, published initially as an e-book. Four more books are awaiting publication and he is working on his seventh novel.
Zev Bagel is currently president of the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick and a member of The Writers’ Union of Canada. He is a founding member of ArtShediac and Ciné-Shediac.
